Professional Bio

Dr. Robert Worthington resides in Columbia, Maryland, with his family. He is a former Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) employee employed as a federal contractor with Leidos Inc. as an Aeronautical Data Analyst in Silver Springs, Maryland (Apr 2019 – Present).

Dr. Worthington is a recent graduate of Walden University’s consulting capstone program, designed to build a solid foundation and experience in consulting. At the same time, examine a specific business problem, earning a Doctor in Business Administration (DBA) degree.

His other degrees include a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in aviation from Lynn University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Professional Aeronautics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Dr. Worthington’s professional background includes more than twenty-five years of aviation experience, including stints of duty with the Federal Aviation Administration National Air Traffic Control Center, and 10-plus years of military service as a member of the United States Air Force and been afforded numerous opportunities to work at some of the most exciting job locations in the world, including the Pentagon in Washington, DC; Kennedy Space Center Cape Canaveral, FL (home to the US Space Program and the Space Shuttle); and the National Air Traffic Control Center located at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center Oklahoma City, OK.
